Indiana University Health is seeking a PRN Echocardiography Technologist for night shifts, including Fridays 6:00pm-6:00am and other PTO/call-ins. You will perform cardiac ultrasound and Doppler studies, monitor tests, and provide preliminary findings to physicians while ensuring patient comfort across all ages.
The role requires BLS, registry eligibility within a year, and familiarity with cardiology imaging procedures. Onsite position with commitment to high-quality patient care.
Performs, administers & monitors Cardio-Diagnostic tests with primary emphasis on cardiac sonography and doppler studies. Administers all Cardio-Diagnostic tests. Provides physician with preliminary findings of recorded data through monitoring and performing the necessary calculations, in a timely fashion while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.
