Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound education program with a cardiac focus.
• Ultrasound certification from ARDMAS or CCI in echocardiography (if not current, to be obtained within one year of employment).
• Minimum of one year job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all echocardiographic procedures on adults (18+) in a professional, manner and acquiring the highest quality studies possible.
• Prepare, educate and assist patients, their families & physicians in the echocardiographic procedures and their purpose.
• Demonstrate proper use of echocardiographic equipment and adapt techniques for adults of all ages.
• Accurately complete imaging and document procedures efficiently and timely.
• Organize workspace, schedule patients, and maintain cost-effective workflow in collaboration with the health system.
