Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an Echo Technician - Echocardiology (Per-Diem/PRN) to perform diagnostic echocardiograms and related non-invasive cardiac tests. The role includes preparing reports and supporting the medical team with accurate findings.

The ideal candidate will have formal training in diagnostic cardiac sonography and 2 years of related experience, with certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Formal training in diagnostic cardiac sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certificate preferred.
• Two years of cardiac sonography experience or comparable training.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms to assist in accurate diagnosis.
• Conduct stress tests and nuclear stress testing as required.
• Perform electrocardiograms and analyze results for the medical team.
• Ensure reports are completed accurately and documented in records.
• Operate and maintain patient care equipment safely and logs kept.
• Check defibrillator daily and maintain logbook.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
