Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health in Washington, DC seeks an Echo Technician - Echocardiology (Per-Diem/PRN) to perform diagnostic echocardiograms and related non-invasive cardiac tests, and to prepare accurate reports for the medical team.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalency, formal training in diagnostic cardiac sonography, RDCS preferred, and two years of recent cardiac sonography experience.

Qualifications

• Formal training in diagnostic cardiac sonography required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) preferred.
• Two years of recent cardiac sonography experience or comparable training.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms using ultrasound to image the heart.
• Conduct non-invasive cardiac tests and ensure accurate report completion.
• Analyze results and summarize findings for the medical team.
• Obtain vital signs and document appropriately.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety guidelines.
