Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Strong patient-care and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competency for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams with patient identification and education.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols and in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
• Document results and codes accurately.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
