Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL is seeking an experienced cardiac sonographer to join our imaging team. You will perform adult echocardiography, transesophageal and stress echocardiograms, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include RDCS/RCS/RVT/RVS, BLS, 2+ years in adult echocardiography (pediatric experience preferred) and the ability to work independently. This full-time on-site role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance to eligible

Qualifications

• Must be able to function independently with little supervision.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English; basic math skills.
• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Registered in the appropriate modality (RDCS, RVT, RCS, or RVS).
• Pediatric echocardiography experience strongly preferred.
• Experience performing adult echocardiography including TE echocardiography and stress echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform, document, and report procedures per departmental policy.
• Adapt procedures to patient medical conditions for accurate interpretation.
• Ensure timely flow of procedures and quality standards.
• Communicate findings to supervising physicians and patients as appropriate.
• Work as part of a team to provide optimal patient care.
