Job summary

Beacon Health Options in Indiana seeks a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiography studies in a busy Echo Lab. You will conduct adult and pediatric exams, including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, Color flow, and Stress Echo, and contribute to patient education and care.

Responsibilities include maintaining daily logbooks, ensuring Echo reports are filed in Vericis or equivalent, and presenting findings to the physician. Must maintain CPR certification and work in a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS credential required; if new graduate, obtain within 2 years of graduation.
• 1–2 years of job-related experience preferred.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Proficient in adult and pediatric echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Echocardiograms /Education.
• Perform M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, Color flow, and Stress Echo on adults and children.
• Keep daily logbook and ensure Echo report is in Vericis prior to physician read.
• Keep patient records on file in Department for comparison.
• Monitor stock supplies and keep rooms neat and orderly.
• Communicate data to physicians and participate in interpretation.
• Respond promptly to emergencies as directed.
