Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiac Sonography Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
• Registered in RDCS/RCCS/RCS with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARDMS.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiogram tests, prepares and positions patients, and ensures image quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data and documents results.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and escalates issues as needed.
• Performs quality assurance on equipment and supports accreditation processes.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions to supervision.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and supports department goals.
