Job summary

NCH Healthcare System is seeking an Echo Sonographer-Registry Eligible for our Cardiology department in Naples, FL. This role performs transthoracic echocardiograms and related measurements, collaborating with physicians to ensure precise data collection.

Candidates must be registry-eligible, with appropriate CVT/echocardiography training, and obtain licensure within two years. Proficiency in Windows/Office and BLS certification are required for day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CVT or echocardiography program, or Associate degree with natural science emphasis.
• Registry-eligible under one of these: RDMS, RDCS, or RCS.
• Licensure required within 2 years of employment.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA.
• Computer literacy with medical applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (2-D/M-mode) per lab protocol.
• Measure and document M-Mode and Doppler studies.
• Operate ultrasound machine and assist physician during TEE.
• Clean and disinfect probes per policy and manufacturer recommendations.
• Provide accurate documentation of patient data and test results.
