Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking an Echo Sonographer I to join the Cardiology department in Naples, FL. The role involves performing transthoracic echocardiograms, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing accurate reports for physician interpretation.

The ideal candidate has an accredited echocardiography program or related degree, and is RDMS/RDCS/RCS certified with BLS. Per Diem work and routine lab duties are expected, with emphasis on patient data integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Accredited CVT or echocardiography program, or an Associate’s degree with emphasis on natural science, or 10 years’ experience as a Registered Echo Sonographer.
• Must be registered as one of the following: RDMS (Cardiology), RDCS, or RCS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Intermediate computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Performs Transthoracic Echocardiogram 2-D and M-mode per lab protocol.
• Operates ultrasound machine and assists physician during TEE procedure.
• Maintains patient records and documentation in department logs.
• Participates in data collection and PI objectives and assists in case reviews.
