Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) seeks an Echo Sonographer II Registered to perform transthoracic echocardiography and contribute to pediatric cardiac assessments across our Naples campuses. The role requires strong knowledge of pediatric anatomy and congenital conditions, precise imaging, and the ability to work under pressure with uncooperative patients.

You will document tests, manage orders, support ICAEL standards, train staff, and collaborate with cardiology teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Accredited CVT/echo program or Associate’s degree in natural science; 10 years’ echo experience acceptable.
• Registered with RDMS/RDCS/RCS or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical Echo experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Transthoracic Echo 2-D and M-mode per adult/pediatric protocol.
• Document all studies and maintain patient logs.
• Operate ultrasound machine and assist during TEE procedure.
• Maintain infection control and equipment; ensure safety.
• Train new staff and support ICAEL guidelines.
