St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX, part of St. David’s HealthCare, is seeking a PRN Cardiac Sonographer to perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures including adult and pediatric echocardiography.

You will work with the care team to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies and maintain a safe, efficient environment. The role requires at least 1 year of echocardiography experience, BLS, and relevant credentials; Stress Echo and TEE are preferred, with familiarity in carotid ultrasound

Formación

• One year experience performing adult echocardiograms.
• BLS certification as per policy.
• RDCS or RCS certification.
• Proficiency in Stress Echo, TEE – preferred.
• Proficiency in Carotid ultrasound and Trans Cranial Doppler studies – preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures including adult/pediatric echocardiography.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and efficient diagnostic studies.
• Maintain professional communication with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment used in Cardiology and related to job functions.
• Demonstrate competency in arrhythmia interpretation.
