Job summary

JPS Health Network seeks an Echo Sonographer for PRN work at JPS Main in Fort Worth, TX. The role performs advanced diagnostic ultrasound including 2-D echocardiography, color flow, and Doppler under supervision, in a high-volume radiology setting.

You will assist in trans-esophageal and stress echo, manage image quality, and document procedures in EMR. ARDMS/CCI and BLS are required qualifications, with on-site work and benefits typical for PRN staff.

Qualifications

• Cardiac imaging competencies for echocardiography procedures.
• BLS-certified healthcare professional status.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2-D echocardiography color flow and echo Doppler procedures on patients.
• Assists Cardiologist or designee in trans-esophageal echo procedures and stress echocardiography.
• Obtains images per written protocols and ensures timely scheduling.
• Operates and reviews images, performs post-processing at remote workstations.
• Maintains quality control and proper documentation in EMR/PACS.
