Yale New Haven Health seeks a Clinical Services Assistant for HVC Echocardiography to support patient scheduling and coordination with schedulers, technologists, referring physicians and physicians under the Imaging Section manager. You will handle complex exam instructions, data updates, and patient reception in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, reliability, and familiarity with clinical workflows.

Formación

• Three (3) years of administrative clerical/scheduling experience in an outpatient environment.
• Experience with Third Party payor requirements, LMRPs and ABN exposure desired.
• Prior computer usage in an imaging department.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and supports all tasks related to patient scheduling.
• Ensures all inpatient procedures are scheduled from the order entry queue in a timely manner.
• Ensures all outpatient procedures are scheduled accurately with optimum customer service.
• Maintains scheduling manuals within each section in collaboration with Section Coordinator or coordinator or scheduling.
• Responsible and accountable for consistently maintaining Scheduling Guidelines and Compliance Regulations as identified by the manager or coordinator.
• Works with manager/coordinator to ensure all quality control measures have been addressed.
• Follows HIPPA guidelines when working with confidential patient information.
• Assists manager and coordinator of the section with ordering and purchasing of all necessary office supplies.
