Job summary

Yale New Haven Health seeks a skilled Sonographer to perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams and interpret results under physician direction. You will schedule duties, maintain CPACS documentation, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires RDCS/ RCS or RVT credentials, an associate degree in diagnostic sonography, and strong technical and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work across HVC sites is expected and the position is full-time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; completion of an accredited Sonography program.
• RDCS/ RCS or RVT credentials depending on cardiac/vascular focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality and efficient ultrasound exams for cardiac and vascular imaging.
• Provide compassionate patient care and maintain safety and satisfaction.
• Schedule exams, document results, and maintain CPACS records.
• Participate in training and maintain required certifications.
