Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare seeks a clinical assistant to perform diagnostic procedures such as EKG, pulse oximetry, rhythm strips, and 24-hour Holter monitor hookup. The role includes assisting with stress testing and respiratory equipment, handling related paperwork, and entering procedure charges.

Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, are required to meet patient needs. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, is familiar with medical terminology, and ideally has EKG course completion

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent required; EKG course preferred.
• Experience with EKG, 24-hour Holter, and event monitoring desired.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures: EKG, pulse oximetry, rhythm strips, and Holter monitor hookup.
• Assist with stress testing and processing respiratory equipment as needed.
• Enter charges for procedures and process related paperwork.
• Support timely supply processing and distribution of equipment.
