UF Health Shands Homecare seeks a clinical assistant to perform diagnostic procedures such as EKG, pulse oximetry, rhythm strips, and 24-hour Holter monitor hookup. The role includes assisting with stress testing and respiratory equipment, handling related paperwork, and entering procedure charges.

Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, are required to meet patient needs. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, is familiar with medical terminology, and ideally has EKG course completion

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent required; EKG course preferred.
• Experience with EKG, 24-hour Holter, and event monitoring desired.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Responsabilités

Overview

Job Description

Performs diagnostic procedure including ECG, Pulse Oximetry, Rhythm Strips, and 24 hour Holter Monitor hook-up. Hook-ups and assists with Stress Testing and processing Respiratory Equipment as needed. Processes job related paperwork. Enters charges for procedures performed. Assist in timely and safe supply processing, and distribution of equipment. Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, inclusive of weekends and holidays. Attention to detail as it pertainst to patients, procedures, equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: HS graduate or equivalent. Completion of EKG course preferred. Experience in performing EKG, 24 Holter and event monitoring desired. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Aptitude to work with mechanical devices.
