Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson is seeking per diem RN staff for the diagnostic cardiology department. The role involves collaborating with Fellows and Attending Cardiologists to perform transesophageal echocardiograms and stress tests, with the goal of growing into a Cardiovascular RN career or moving from a critical care procedural area to non-invasive patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years Cardiac Diagnostic or RN Procedural experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Live within 30 minutes of the facility due to call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient nursing needs and discharge planning; review histories and diagnostics.
• Formulate and adjust care plans with the multidisciplinary team; involve patient/family.
• Implement and coordinate care; delegate tasks to staff and supervise team members.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise plans accordingly.
• Document assessments, planning, and outcomes in the patient record.
• Promote evidence-based care and participate in unit leadership activities.
