Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Tucson Northwest is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem Day Shift (7a–7p) position at Northwest Medical Center. The role offers a $54.00 per hour pay rate and focuses on compassionate, high-quality inpatient post-ICU care.

You’ll participate in a comprehensive orientation, flexible scheduling with a minimum of 4 shifts in a 6-week cycle, and potential opportunities for advancement within a nationwide team of over 44,000 professionals.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS and ACLS required at hire.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
