Job summary

Boston Scientific in Arden Hills, MN is seeking a day shift Manufacturing Technician to support Cardiac Diagnostics operations. You’ll work with engineers on equipment setup, calibration, preventive maintenance and debugging of cellular phones, business systems and electronic test gear.

You’ll assist in developing methods and procedures to control manufacturing processes, perform on-line adjustments, validate equipment and processes, and help create or revise documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent with 3 years of related experience.
• Comfortable reading electrical schematics and part drawings.
• Knowledge of medical device documentation requirements.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with manufacturing engineers.

Responsibilities

• Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations.
• Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Regularly performs scheduled/preventive and calibration maintenance on equipment.
• Installs, validates equipment and processes to improve yield and reduce cycle time.
• Develops or revises documents and procedures as needed.
• Train and provide technical support to product builders and other technicians.
