Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Backus Hospital in CT seeks a Cardiac Testing Specialist to perform diagnostic cardiac stress tests and noninvasive cardiac testing including EKGs, Holter, event and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Work closely with the cardiac testing team to ensure accurate results and patient safety.

Completion of an accredited allied health program or Medical Assistant; an associates degree in exercise or health science is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited allied health, medical assistant program or equivalent.
• Associates degree in exercise or health science preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac stress tests in coordination with the cardiac testing specialist.
• Conduct noninvasive cardiac testing including EKGs, Holter, and ambulatory BP monitoring.
• Assist in ensuring patient safety and quality results.
• Collaborate with the cardiac testing team for accurate scheduling and reporting.
