• Evaluate device alerts and transmissions.
• Provide patient education on device operation and safety.
• Assist with patient communication and scheduling.
• Perform EKGs as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize device programming.

This position offers entry into a structured 1 to 2-year Device Technician Training Program designed to develop advanced expertise in cardiac rhythm management and implantable cardiac devices .

The role blends self-paced learning, classroom instruction, and hands-on clinical training, preparing candidates to independently:

• Interpret cardiac rhythms
• Perform device interrogations
• Troubleshoot and optimize device function

The program is a tiered internal growth pathway, leading to HCA certification and progressive salary advancement.

What you will do in this role:

Perform and interpret device checks on:

1. Loop recorders
2. Pacemakers
3. Implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs)
4. Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices

• Evaluate and respond to device alerts and transmissions
• Complete MRI clearance assessments
• Provide patient education on device operation and safety
• Assist with patient communication and scheduling
• Perform EKGs as needed
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize device programming

What Qualifications you will need:
