Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support Registered Nurses in hands-on patient care and to help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

You will assist with vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping monitor conditions and carry out care plans. Teamwork and empathy are essential to restore comfort and dignity for every patient we serve.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant or attend PCT Essentials 5 week training program
• No Travel Required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
