Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation Napa Specialty is seeking a Cardiac Device Technician for our outpatient device clinic. You will interrogate, assess and manage implanted cardiac devices and remote transmissions in collaboration with clinic RNs and physicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health or science field or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
• National Cardiac Device Specialist cert upon hire.
• National Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring Specialist cert upon hire.
• National Certified Electrophysiology Specialist cert upon hire.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS from American Heart Association.
• Minimum 2 years healthcare or cardiac patient assessment experience.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate and assess implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders).
• Manage remote transmissions and data reviews for device patients.
• Collaborate with device clinic RNs and supervising physicians.
• Ensure procedures are ordered and performed under physician/mid-level supervision.
• Support clinic operations and patient care in outpatient setting.
