Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking an experienced clinical technician to manage implanted cardiac devices such as pacemakers and ICDs. You will perform device interrogations, programming adjustments, and remote monitoring, ensuring device performance aligns with treatment plans and patient safety.

You will collaborate with physicians and the device team, educate patients, and handle basic troubleshooting while adhering to regulatory and billing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's/Technical degree preferred.
• Cardiovascular experience preferred.
• Training in pacemaker and device technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic interrogation and adjustments to pacemaker/ICD devices per protocol or orders.
• Troubleshoots device issues and conducts device clinic triage and patient education, including remote monitoring.
• Interprets patient condition and communicates findings to physicians and healthcare team; suggests process improvements.
