Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pacemaker/ICD Technician to identify normal and abnormal findings during device interrogations and to analyze patient device data. You will generate summaries and reports under physician guidance.

The role requires 3–5 years of cardiac monitoring experience, knowledge of implantable device therapies, and proficiency with computer systems and MS Office. You will work closely with clinicians to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of cardiac monitoring and analysis experience.
• Understanding of electric conduction system and implantable device therapy.

Responsibilities

• Identifies normal and abnormal findings during device interrogation for pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices.
• Reviews and analyzes data from implanted devices using programmers and generates summaries and reports.
• Reports abnormal findings to the provider and assists with device adjustments as directed.
• Applies and removes programmer electrodes and explains equipment to patients and families.
• Performs office Pacemaker/ICD interrogations.
