Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the cardiac device team at Aurora St. Luke’s. You will perform device interrogations, programming, and patient care during MRI scans and post‑operative care.

The role requires two years of nursing experience, BLS/ACLS, and on‑call duties with a 6:00 am–6:30 pm schedule. You must reside within 30 minutes of the location to support urgent device needs.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• RN license in applicable state; BLS and ACLS required.
• Completion of accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive device interrogations for pacemakers/ICDs/CRT devices.
• Reprogram devices in collaboration with EP physicians.
• Monitor device function during MRI, ensure proper programming post-scan.
• Provide direct patient care and escalate as needed.
• Document all device checks in Epic.
