Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Surgical Tech (CVOR CST) with 5+ years of CVOR and open heart experience to join our operating room team. The technician will maintain the sterile field, assemble instruments, and support the surgeon throughout procedures in a tertiary care setting.

The role requires comfort floating to General OR, experience in Level I/II trauma centers, and active NBSTSA certification plus BLS. This contract covers 13 weeks with dayshift, 10-hour shifts, and high accountability for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CVOR experience
• Open heart experience
• Comfortable floating to General OR if needed
• Tertiary care center or Level I/II trauma center experience
• Active NBSTSA certification
• Active American Heart Association BLS

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the sterile field during procedures.
• Assemble and verify sterile instruments and supplies.
• Prepare the operating room and set up equipment prior to procedures.
• Facilitate instrument and medication handling for the surgical team.
• Ensure accurate patient charges by tracking supplies and disposables.
