Job summary

Health Wealth Safe is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging at Acworth Health Park. You will follow ALARA principles, coordinate with a care team, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT radiography/CT certifications, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience. RIS/PACS documentation is part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performing CT procedures following department protocols and adjusting techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining equipment and rooms, reporting issues promptly.
• Obtaining patient history, verifying orders, explaining procedures using AIDET, and addressing patient concerns to reduce anxiety.
• Ensuring patient privacy, comfort, and safety; administering contrast and positioning patients correctly.
• Reviewing images for quality, repeating exams if necessary, and documenting procedures accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Monitoring patient condition, responding to emergencies, and maintaining life-support equipment.
• Organizing workflow to meet department standards, supporting operational compliance, and assisting with clerical tasks.
