Job summary

The VIOS Clinic seeks a CT Technologist for Acworth Health Park to deliver high-quality CT imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, operate imaging equipment, and uphold ALARA safety practices while documenting findings in RIS/PACS. The role requires ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS, with at least 1 year in radiology.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 1 year of radiology experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures per departmental guidelines and capture diagnostic images with technical expertise.
  • Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining safety and minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, report issues, and uphold infection control standards.
  • Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
  • Provide patient comfort, privacy, and safety, including administering contrast and proper positioning.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat scans if necessary, and document procedures in RIS/PACS.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with equipment readiness.
  • Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job description

This role is for a CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience at Acworth Health Park.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Performing CT procedures according to department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise.
  • Operating imaging equipment independently while maintaining safety and minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
  • Ensuring equipment cleanliness, reporting issues, and maintaining infection control standards.
