Job summary

DayToDay Health’s CT Technologist will deliver high-quality imaging at Acworth Health Park, operating CT equipment independently while minimizing radiation exposure. You will obtain history, verify identity, explain procedures with AIDET, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certificate ARRT - R, ARRT - CT, and BLS are required.
• Proficient in obtaining clinical history, verifying patient identity, and explaining procedures using AIDET.
• Maintains infection control, patient comfort, privacy, and safety during imaging.
• Operates CT imaging equipment and administers contrast via venipuncture when needed.
• Documents in RIS/PACS accurately; monitors patient condition and responds to emergencies.

Job description

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging at Acworth Health Park. They operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently, ensuring diagnostic accuracy while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).

Key duties include performing CT procedures according to department protocols, preparing and maintaining equipment, and maintaining infection control standards.

They obtain clinical history, verify patient identity, explain procedures using AIDET, and ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety.

They administer contrast agents via venipuncture, position patients correctly, and review images for diagnostic quality, repeating exams as needed.

Accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, monitoring patient condition, and responding to emergencies are essential.
