Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is expanding its Cardiac Evaluation Center in Norwalk, Connecticut, seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures for cardiovascular care. You will work with radiologists to deliver high-quality cross-sectional images and participate in invasive CT exams with proper sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Selects correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while considering patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate CT images.
• Participates in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting Radiologist/Physician Assistant using sterile technique and producing CT images.
