Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at the cardiovascular walk-in center in Norwalk, CT, following established protocols to assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in CT and ARRT CT certification within 12 months. The position offers opportunities for cross-training and advancement within a dynamic Heart & Vascular Institute.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.
• Graduate from an accredited radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures per established protocols to assist the radiologist.
• Select correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis.
• Produce high quality cross sectional images to support diagnosis and treatment.
