Health Wealth Safe is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT procedures, ensuring diagnostic accuracy while minimizing radiation exposure in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires independent operation of imaging equipment, strict adherence to safety standards, patient history gathering, and AIDET communication. Collaboration with the care team supports efficient RIS/PACS workflows and patient care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum one year of radiology experience.
  • ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT procedures following department protocols, ensuring diagnostic accuracy while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques as needed and maintaining equipment hygiene.
  • Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET communication.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy; administer contrast media when required.
  • Position patients correctly, apply shielding, and review images for diagnostic quality, repeating scans if necessary.
  • Document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS systems and manage study transfers and retrievals.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain life-support equipment.
  • Organize workflow, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
