Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Atlanta seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for CVICU coverage. Role includes critical care responsibilities, working with physicians in an autonomous environment to deliver high-level cardiovascular care.

Applicants should have ICU/critical care experience, PA or NP licensure in Georgia with national certification, and experience with ECMO/LVADs is a plus. PRN/on-call schedule offered with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program with national board certification.
• GA state NP license with national certification or equivalent credential with GA authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular access and line placements with bedside ultrasound.
• Manage ventilation, hemodynamics, and critical care monitoring.
• Care for post-cardiovascular surgery patients including heart transplantation and advanced heart failure.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular surgery teams to deliver integrated care.
