Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time night shifts. You will support patient care and daily living activities under the supervision of the RN, contributing to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience as Unit Secretary/ Nursing Assistant, Medic or EMT/Paramedic, preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at start date.
• CNA Certification required.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service.
• For Emergency Room, CPI required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for facilitating and enhancing patient care and the patient experience under the RN.
• Duties include patient care, activities of daily living, and general support duties (clerical, stocking, courier, transport).
• Provides everyday patient care; other duties as assigned.
