Job summary

Lady Lake Specialty Care in Lady Lake, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team for 3p-11pm and 11pm-7am shifts. We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time employment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Perform direct resident care under supervision of licensed nursing staff, promoting a compassionate environment and supporting residents to maximize their potential.

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA certification.
• Current/active CPR certification preferred.
• At least one year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) for residents daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other information.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Observe residents and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care plan development.
• Provide adequate hydration and assist with meals as needed.
• Keep accurate records of food intake and output.
