Job summary

Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix is seeking a Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse to participate in our high acuity invasive cardiac and EP procedures. The RN will prep, recover and manage care in PACU, assist with sheaths and arterial access, and support sedation and anesthesia recovery under physician orders.

The ideal candidate will have completed a BSN program, 5 years of cardiac/vascular experience, and knowledge of TR bands and radials.

Qualifications

• BSN degree completed and registered nurse in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years in Surgical, Procedural, PACU or Cardiac ICU areas.
• Procedural knowledge including sedation recovery and femoral artery access.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan the nursing care with the care team.
• Coordinate and document care, including discharge planning.
• Monitor and respond to patient status during invasive cardiac procedures.
