Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled Cath Lab specialist in Downers Grove, IL to provide professional cardiovascular nursing care during procedures. The role supports physicians and ensures accurate documentation and patient safety in a high‑stress lab environment.

Candidates must have a current IL license as a RTR/RTN/RCVT or Paramedic, with 2+ years Cath Lab experience or 5+ years RTR/RTN background, and commit to ongoing CEU requirements. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years cardiac cath lab experience.
• CEU hours: 12 per year.
• Ability to perform under high stress and provide patient care.
• Compliance with licensure and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, highly technical nursing care in the cath lab.
• Assist physicians during all cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures.
• Respond to off-hour call within 30 minutes of pager.
• Mentor staff and contribute to development of new procedures.
