Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. You will support physicians during lifesaving cardiac procedures, assist with patient education, and ensure a sterile, safe environment in a state-of-the-art cath lab.

The role requires RCIS certification, ACLS/BCLS within 30 days of start date, and a certificate in cardiovascular care. Travel is not required, and prior experience in a cath lab is preferred.

Qualifications

• RCIS certification required.
• ACLS and BCLS (Instructor) within 30 days of start date.
• Certificate in Cardiovascular or related field.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced Cath Lab equipment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion.
