Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiac care team. You will work with physicians using state-of-the-art cath lab technology to perform angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements while guiding patients and families through the care journey.

You will ensure sterile environments, monitor patient responses, and maintain equipment. The role requires ACLS/BCLS instructor readiness, CCT or Paramedic credentials, and an associate

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS instructor eligibility within specified timelines.
• CCT or Paramedic credential required.
• Vocational school graduate or associate degree required.
• 2 years of cath lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements


• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date


• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• (CCT) Certified Cardiographic Technician, or Paramedic


• Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
