Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. You will support physicians during lifesaving cardiac procedures, prepare and educate patients, and operate advanced cath lab equipment to ensure top-quality care.

The role requires ACLS and BCLS within 30 days of start, a high school diploma or GED, and eligible RCIS/CST/RT/ARRT-R credentials with at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography.
• 2 years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.
