Qualifications

• Two (2) years Cardiac Cath Lab Cardiac Experience
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS may be required depending on unit specific needs.
• Must obtain RCIS certification in 24 Months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of a preceptor and/ or charge person during orientation.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures and protocols.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
• Ensures patient education of procedure performed, needs, safety, and comfort are met while in their care.
• Acquires patient’s clinical history and ensures accurate documentation of information.
