Requirements include cath lab certification, hospital cath lab exposure, imaging equipment proficiency, patient monitoring and strong team communication. BLS/ACLS certifications are expected or obtainable before start date.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent credentials.
• Experience in a hospital or acute care cardiac cath lab.
• Proficiency with advanced imaging equipment and sterile techniques.
• Ability to monitor patient condition and respond to emergent situations.
• Strong communication skills for team coordination and patient interaction.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and operate imaging equipment for invasive cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Document patient data and procedural findings with accurate records.
• Monitor vital signs throughout procedures and uphold safety protocols.
• Participate in maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
