Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. This role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, and 1+ year Cath Lab experience.

Travel and 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts. You will prepare and operate imaging equipment for invasive cardiac procedures, assist physicians, document findings, monitor vital signs, and ensure infection control.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist certification/credentials required.
• 1+ year Cath Lab experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Proficiency with advanced imaging equipment and sterile techniques.
• Ability to monitor patient condition and respond to emergent situations.
• Strong communication skills for team coordination and patient interaction.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and operate imaging equipment for invasive cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Document patient data and procedural findings; maintain accurate records.
• Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures and respond to changes.
• Adhere to safety regulations and infection control protocols.
• Participate in maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
