Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year performing invasive cardiovascular procedures or graduate of a CVT program.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular cath or electrophysiology procedures and radiation protection.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and physicians.
• Maintain current licenses and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Completion of cardiovascular cath and/or EP competencies.
• May function in monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating roles.
• Preps and educates the patient for procedure.
• Maintains sterile technique and safety.
• Handles communications and operations in the cath lab, including documentation and charges.
