Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to be part of the team delivering high-quality cardiac care. You will assist physicians with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, while preparing patients and ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.

In this PRN role, you will operate advanced cath lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and uphold sterile standards to protect every patient.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience preferred.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Licensure: RT/Radiologic Technologist or similar; ARRT-R/RCIS within 2 years.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain cath lab equipment to deliver safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for patients.
