The ideal candidate has cath lab experience and relevant ARRT-R or RCIS certifications, plus BCLS and ACLS readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Paramedic program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) required, often within 2 years of hire if not held upon entry.
• BCLS (within 30 days) and ACLS (within 90 days).
• Previous cath lab experience (min 1 year) required

Responsibilities

• Procedure Assistance: Scrub and circulate during diagnostic/interventional cardiology, electrophysiology (EP), and vascular procedures.
• Equipment Operation:Operate radiographic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment to provide imaging and data.
• Patient Care:Prepare patients, explain procedures, monitor hemodynamics, and provide support in Code Blue situations.
• Safety & Compliance:Maintain sterile fields, adhere to radiation safety, and manage image archiving.
• Call Rotation:Participate in on-call rotations for emergency cases.
