Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for PRN work in Cypress, TX. You will assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, prepare patients, operate advanced cath lab equipment, and monitor patient responses to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You’ll work under supervision of licensed practitioners, maintain sterile conditions, and support families through the patient journey while upholding the highest standards of clinical competence.

Qualifications

• ARRT and Texas Radiology Tech licensure
• RCIS certification
• RCIS staff without ARRT must be under supervision of licensed practitioner for invasive procedures
• Current BCLS certification required
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment
• Maintains clinical competence and annual skills checklist

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements)
• Prep and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion
• Maintain sterile environment and advocate for patient safety
