Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, following established nursing processes and hospital policies. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating activities of assigned staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications include an RN from an accredited program, active Georgia license or compact, BLS/ACLS, and 1–2 years in cardiology, cath lab, IR, or ED.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Georgia RN license or multistate compact.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1–2 years in Diagnostic Cardiology/Cath Lab/IR/ED.
• Expert knowledge of cardiac rhythms and cardiovascular pharmacology.
• Strong IV placement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the patient lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
